Cocoa the Sweet Senior

Cocoa is a handsome dark gray tabby who, at 12 years old, lost his beloved owner. Cocoa is understandably shy, but once he feels safe, he loves attention, enjoys being petted, and is quite the talker.
Cocoa has a heart murmur (4/6). His ProBNP testing showed no significant strain or stress on his heart, so the cause of the murmur is currently unknown. He also has an eosinophilic granuloma (a non-cancerous mass) on his tongue that has been present for at least 9 years. Surgery and various medications were previously tried without success, so we are currently trying a limited-ingredient, allergy-friendly diet (Instinct Limited Ingredient Rabbit) to see if it helps. He is currently eating the wet and dry diet.

Until he has a furever home, you can support Cocoa by becoming his sponsor.

Cocoa is available for adoption, and for a foster-to-adopt.
