Animals in Distress, Inc. is a charitable 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Mercerville, NJ.  Our mission is to provide animal welfare including shelter, medical care, and compassion to felines in need with the ultimate goal of finding loving & permanent homes to as many as possible.  We are dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating cats & kittens and improving their lives. Our volunteers are passionate about making a difference and dedicate their time.  Your monetary donation is tax deductible and ensures we can carry out mission by providing:

• Food and Nutrition: Providing nutritious food for cats in the shelter, including special diets for those with medical conditions.

• Medical Care: Covering the costs of veterinary check-ups, vaccinations, medications, surgeries, and emergency treatment.

• Shelter and Housing: Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for cats, including housing, bedding, litter boxes, and enrichment items.

• Grooming and Hygiene: Keeping cats clean and comfortable through grooming, flea and tick prevention, and other hygiene-related needs.

• Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Programs: Supporting TNR efforts to humanely manage feral cat populations.

• Facility Maintenance: Covering the costs of rent, utilities, and upkeep for the shelter or rescue facility.
