The cats that need medical attention the most are the small and vulnerable: kittens! Without having fully developed immune systems and being protected against infectious disease, they are extremely susceptible to the following:

• Upper Respiratory Infections

• Eye Infections

• Calicivirus

• Panleukopenia

• Ringworm

• Gastrointestinal distress

Very frequently, kittens need supportive care such as oral antibiotics, eye antibiotics, anti-viral medication, sub-cutaneous fluids for hydration support, expensive high-calorie & nutritional  food, de-worming medication, diagnostic testing, etc. When ill, they require around-the-care nursing and close coordination with our veterinary team.
